This step is all about action. You have your boxes filled, now you have to do something with those boxes.

In your keep box you will have all the items that need to be put back or put in their appropriate spot. Well, go put it up! If you do not know where to put it, then think about a great place it can go where it would not be in the way and creating clutter again. Important paper, receipts and things like this should be put into folders that are labeled. If you do not have a file cabinet you can get a big shoe box and place the folders in there and keep it under your bed or somewhere safe. Really important papers should be placed in a fire safe box. This will be the most important investment you can make! You never want to chance having birth certificates, social security cards left unprotected in case of a house fire!

In your garage sale or donate box there will be items that are in great condition but you have no use for them anymore. You should go ahead and go to the place you are donating them and get that out of the way. If you are planning a yard sale soon, mark all your items and put the box away for that time. If you do not have a yard sale planned soon, plan one. Chances are you will start to empty that box back into your home if you do not get rid of those things soon.

The trash box just needs to get put out with the trash ASAP!!!

Now, for the unsure box.....the toughest box of all!!

Take each item out individually and decide quickly what you will do with it. The longer you think about it the more you will talk yourself into keeping it. If any items are a keeper, put them away right away! If they are donates, put them inside that box and forget about it.

Now you are ready to go to the next room!!!
