Amazing Shepherd's Pie
November 30, 2013Shepherd's Pie You Will Love
This is a southern classic, very flavorful and filling!!
This is also something you can make very fast and use those leftover 'fixins' from any major get together.
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 med onion, diced
3 T. season salt
2 T. garlic powder
Brown all this together. Drain.
2 T. butter, melted
2 cans cream mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
Mix all this together into a bowl or frying pan with meat.
Then add:
{can be frozen or canned- or my favorite, leftover!!}
corn, green beans and carrots
{any amount you want to use....a whole can, 1/2 bag or whatever is leftover is fine}
Put all this mix into a casserole dish.
Top with mash potatoes {I used leftovers}
Bake uncovered 350- for 20-30 minutes...until potatoes are golden brown and inside is hot!!
Ok so I know that isn't an actual play by play, exact recipe. But to be honest with you, I NEVER make anything the same twice. So this is the best I could do!!! Hope you enjoy it!!!

I like making vegetarian shepherd's pie. It is such a tasty meal. I never thought to use cream of mushroom soup. I'll have to try it next time. - visiting from the Chain Linky Climb Hop!
