Flax seeds are full of Omega 3 fatty acids, micro-nutrients, dietary fiber, manganese, vitamin B1, that are perfect for heart health!
There are many ways you can use flax seeds. You can use them whole like I have done, or you can grind them up in a coffee bean grinder. You can sprinkle them on cereal, oatmeal, add to homemade bread.
Much research has been done about the benefits of flax seeds and here are some things you could experience:
*improved blood sugar
*reduction in hot flashes
*protection again certain cancers; breast, colon, prostate
None of these claims have been proven-
but it couldn't hurt to eat them anyone!!
