Craft Using Recycled Materials
Simple Recycled Crafts Round Up
I am not that crafty. I really should say I do not have the patience for crafts. I love to do it, if I can sit still long enough to finish the project. So I went on a search for some simple, easy, not that time consuming crafts that used recycled materials.
Why recycled materials? Well, I try to live green the best that I can (when I shop I try to buy everything in glass jars and bottles vs. plastic). I wanted to find things that would use items I already had around the house that I could reuse.
Recycling and reusing is great for the environment and awesome for your pocket book!!
I have rounded up a few easy craft ideas I like and think you will enjoy! Be sure to click through to get the full tutorial on how to create these great ideas!!
Heidi @ One Creative Mommy reuses an old milk jug to create a watering can. This is just genius!
This would be perfect for indoor plants and great for kids to help with the watering without making a huge mess!!
Michelle @ Darling DIY shares how to reuse old clothing to upholster a chair. I love this idea! I get some of the cutest clothes given to me that I cannot wear, but hate to see them sit around. This would also be a great idea for upholstering old diaper boxes or shoe boxes.
Jennifer @ Mom vs. The Boys shares a craft reusing old baby food jars. Ok I am in love with this!! My boys would have so much fun making these. These would also be a fun craft to make for Sunday School or a VBS!!
One last craft I want to share with you- I think you will like this one as well.
Gena @ Captain Fussy Buckets shares a cute simple craft recycling old jars. Think spagehtti jars, pickle jars, or old mason jars. The kids can decorate their own cup or make these special for grandparents. What an awesome gift to give for Christmas or a birthday!!
