Homemade Liquid Laundry Soap

This is just like the powder, only liquid.


Liquid Laundry Soap

1c. soap flakes (Ivory bar soap-plain, Fels-Naptha)
2c. boiling water
1c. borax
1c. washing soda
1 gallon tepid water
Melt soap flakes in the 2 cups boiling water on the stove...turn off heat.
Once melted slowly add the borax, washing soda and stir well.
Add tepid water, remove from stove and pour into lg containers with lid...
use 1/4c per load. You can also add essential oils to this to make scented and to increase the cleaning power...lavender and tea tree are good antiseptic and anti- fungals, citrus essential oils make nice scents...
