Homemade Liquid Laundry Soap
February 25, 2013This is just like the powder, only liquid.
Liquid Laundry Soap
1c. soap flakes (Ivory bar soap-plain,
Fels-Naptha)
2c. boiling water
1c. borax
1c. washing soda
1 gallon
tepid water
Melt soap flakes in the 2 cups boiling water on the stove...turn
off heat.
Once melted slowly add the borax, washing soda and stir well.
Add tepid water, remove from stove and pour into lg containers with
lid...
use 1/4c per load. You can also add essential oils to this to make
scented and to increase the cleaning power...lavender and tea tree are good
antiseptic and anti- fungals, citrus essential oils make nice scents...
