This book is not for the faint of heart, or people how do not like beautiful words. 

In the beginning of this book I was a bit thrown off as to where the author was trying to take me, but delving in I figured it out. He was explaining the beauty of the mornings rising sun, the majesty that God brings, and the beauty that surrounds us. 

There are two authors (Tim and Jason) that take turns giving their insights and stories about Who God is, where He can be found and what He wants to do for us.

There is such a beauty with the words that are written, it kept me going back for more.

The main theme of this book is about tapping into the beauty that surrounds us and blocking out the negativity that tries so hard to suck the life out of us.

The entire book is laced with truths about our culture, how to love and live victoriously within that culture and how to change it!!

If I were to say what I thought this book was about, I would say that the authors were really trying to get me to see beauty for what it really is. Not what the world calls beautiful; vanity, outward beauty, prettiness. But real beauty can be found in the everyday; being obedient to Jesus, dressing modestly, watching children play.

Beauty is not how I look, but Who I look to when I need help.
Beauty is not a pretty flower, but the One Who made the flower pretty is beauty.
Beauty is not my clothing style, but my heart that tries to please God with how I dress...

That is what I think this book is about...finding beauty in a dark, messed up world.

I was intrigued by the title, then I read some reviews and knew I wanted to read this book. I love a good book that tells of someone's life and their journey to Jesus. This book was no disappointment. 

I have always been interested in what other religions believe, but just never took the time to actually research it for myself. This book gives you an inside look into what being a Muslim is all about and what they believe. This will be helpful if I encounter someone of this faith. 

I like how Naeem tells the story so fluid like, I did not put this book down!! I read it straight through. It was that good. I really appreciate his candidness, rawness and honesty through his story. 

I am truly encouraged and humbled by reading what God has done for this man, his family and his friends. It only takes one person to start a fire, and Naeem did just that...a fire for God within his Muslim family!

I am extremely excited to review this Bible! I usually do not get the opportunity to review Bibles because they are all gone by the time I get to choose my book. 

What I love about this Bible is that it has chapter and verse like an adults Bible. I feel that is important to storing the Word of God into little (and big) hearts. I also love how all throughout the Adventure Bible it has inserts that briefly explain some history, theology and just tid bits of information that will help a young child understand what they are reading.

I love the color scheme, pictures and the characters that are displayed throughout the Bible making it more lively and inviting for a young reader to dive into the Good Book!!

I personally prefer for myself a Kings James version, but I think this would be a good Bible for young ens because there are not 'thees' and thous' that would make it a bit difficult for them to read it.

My little ones (8) and (7) really enjoy spending time in the Word and love this Bible!!

I originally viewed this recipe at Food.com and thought, hummm, how can I make this even healthier?

I brainstormed and looked in my pantry. I came up with this recipe.

1/2 cup 100% Whole wheat flour

1/4 tsp salt

2 eggs (I used farm fresh)

1 cup Nutella

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 Tbsp cocoa powder

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

1/2 cup chunky peanut butter

1/4 cup Fage plain Greek yogurt

So as you can see, I used 100% Whole wheat flour instead of white flour, I also bumped up the protein by using Greek yogurt!!

Here is how to make them:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 

In a small bowl combine your flour and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl combine eggs with sugar. Stir in the remaining ingredients, leaving peanut butter last. 

Place into a greased 8x8 brownie pan and bake 35-45 minutes.

I sure wish I could give you a new value with my replacements, but I am not super smart like that...so hopefully you can get an idea of what it would be, but protein would be a bit higher.

When I read this I realized that yes, we have relied on God since birth.

We had no human knowledge of Who God was at that time, so we could not pray for our safety, our nutrition, our health. We had to rely on a God we did not acknowledge.

How great is our God!!

When i needed feed, He provided me with milk through my mother. 

If I became sick, He provided a caregiver.

He kept me from falling prey to serious injury.  

How great is my God!!

My body grew from birth daily. My brain grew, my personality formed. All this came from the Masters hand!! He designed me, helped me to grow and kept a watchful eye over me. 

I had no choice but to rely on God then. He was going to do it regardless if I wanted Him to or not.

How great You are God!!

He holds the whole world together by His word!! He held me in His hands caring for me, nurturing me, protecting me, feeding me, tending to me...all while I was but a baby...

I will ever praise you my God!!

Robert Crosby explains there are six relationship circles formed around Jesus while He was on earth. There were the crowds who were mostly just curious about Jesus. Next there were the Five Thousand who were there to accept what Jesus had to give; His blessings, His healing, His teachings. The Seventy were a bit closer to Jesus, working and serving Him. Then there was the twelve and the three. The twelve were the disciples who walked with Jesus and ministered with Him. The three were the men who walked closely with Jesus. They suffered with Him, celebrated with Him.

This book is all about choosing were you want to be in your relationship with Jesus. Do you want to stay hanging back and just being curious, or do you want to get a bit closer? There are six levels and there is only one level were Jesus desires every single one of us; the most inner circle. 

Each chapter highlights what it means to be within each circle, while each chapter draws us closer to Jesus. 

If you are looking to have a closer more intimate walk with Jesus this would be the book for you!!

My three year old is a Heroes of the City fanatic so we were thrilled to review this app for babies (ages 0-2+). I know my LO is not a baby but he still enjoyed playing the games with his favorite friends. To read my original review, you can go here. 

The baby app has no ads, is completely free (with no in-app purchases), has 3 animated videos and 4 fun games designed with little ones in mind. I enjoyed playing them myself and watching my LO play them. I especially liked the drawing pad and watching my child's creativity come alive.
