Nutella Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownie

Chocolate Lovers Healthy Brownie

I originally viewed this recipe at Food.com and thought, hummm, how can I make this even healthier?
I brainstormed and looked in my pantry. I came up with this recipe.

1/2 cup 100% Whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs (I used farm fresh)
1 cup Nutella
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
1/4 cup Fage plain Greek yogurt

So as you can see, I used 100% Whole wheat flour instead of white flour, I also bumped up the protein by using Greek yogurt!!

Here is how to make them:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a small bowl combine your flour and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl combine eggs with sugar. Stir in the remaining ingredients, leaving peanut butter last.
Place into a greased 8x8 brownie pan and bake 35-45 minutes.

The original recipes nutritional value says:

Serving Size: 1 (35 g)
Servings Per Recipe: 16

Amount Per Serving% Daily Value
Calories 150.1
Calories from Fat 55               36%
Total Fat 6.1 g                             9%
Saturated Fat 5.4 g                  27%

Sugars 16.7 g                          66%
Protein 2.2 g                               4%

I sure wish I could give you a new value with my replacements, but I am not super smart like that...so hopefully you can get an idea of what it would be, but protein would be a bit higher.

I hope you enjoy these as much as me and my kids did!!
