Easy Homemade Aloe Vera Lotion

Great for all skin types!

I have made this and sold this labeled at an "After Sun Care" lotion. This homemade lotion is a great item that should be included in your arsenal of creams.
You can use this aloe vera lotion for sunburns or just for dry skin, it doesn't matter, its great all around.
Ingredients:
1 cup aloe vera gel
1 tsp. vitamin E oil {you can use the capsules too-just pop open}
5-10 drops essential oil {lavender is a great choice}
3/4 oz beeswax, grated
1/2 cup vegetable oil {this is what the recipe calls for}
~I used grapeseed oil, you can use whatever you like best or what works for you skin type!
Directions:
1. In med. bowl, stir together the aloe vera gel, vitamin E and essential oils. Set aside.
2. In double broiler melt beeswax and oil. Stir until smooth and well blended, remove from heat. {you can also put in a microwave safe bowl and heat slowly, every 30sec to 1 min stirring in between times}.
3. After melted stir continuously as you add this mixture to the aloe vera mixture. You will then want to use a hand held electric mixer and incorporate the ingredients on slow speed. {keep pushing down the mix that gets on the sides of the bowl}.
4. Pour final mix into container of your choice. Keep lotion in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks. {if going out and think you will need this, just keep in a cool, dry place then try to remember to put it back in the fridge}.
I love this lotion and it sold really well, I have not had a complaint yet.
