I experience pain daily, especially in my lower back and knees. I have scoliosis that makes this inevitable. 

I have had many times back and forth at the doctors, physical therapy and of course pain meds. 

With pain meds, comes dependency. 

As a born again, Spirit filled Christian, you cannot live this way and have an effective ministry. I was under major conviction to not use pain medication to manage my pain. (Disclaimer- I am not in any way saying for you to stop taking your pain medication if you are under a licensed practitioners care- this is my personal conviction)

My biggest problem was not the medication in itself, but the taking it more often than needed, running out to soon and trying to find ways to get more....so now you see why I cannot take pain medications, specifically narcotic medications.

Hi y'all.

Boy o boy, things have gotten a bit hectic, cray-cray and lazy around here.

Right now, I am in getting blog burn out. I know you all have hit that at some point in your careers, and if you have not, you will. And if you have gotten so lucky that you have always enjoyed it, please share how you do it!!

My greatest joy comes from writing, so why am I hitting this lull?? I think that I have lost my focus, changed directions and lost my passion. It was a slow fade, sneaky twists and turns that lead my blog here. I got a thrill from doing certain posts, but then it got overwhelming. The pressure to have a post pushed out because a company wants it ASAP is tough. 

I am just be real here. I'm done. I want to turn in my keys. But the moment I go to hand them over, the light at the end of the tunnels shines out and calls me!! There is so much joy in writing, there is so much joy in making new friends in the blog world. I have made lots of great friends :-)

So I will chug along, I will rethink my program, I will redirect- I WILL NOT QUIT!!

I will stand up and fight for what I love- blogging!

I will not bow down to the sway the internet has on me!

I will not follow the blog crowds- I will be my own person and blog what I love!!

We all know how important it is to be a healthy weight. I got the chance to review this scale, and I love it!!

It measures your BMI (body mass index); a weight-to-height ratio, calculated by dividing one's weight in kilograms by the square of one's height in meters and used as an indicator of obesity and underweight.

There is a chart within the product instructions that tells you what the numbers mean. 

You can also program different users!

I really like that when you begin it calculates your weight, the next time you step on it will either turn green or red. Green means you have lost weight, red means you have gained weight. It is best to step on the scale at the same time each day and follow a regular routine. If you eat sporadically it will calculate your food intake!!

I would give this bath scale ***** (5) stars. It is easy to use, very modern is style and great for keeping track of your health. 

Colon cleansing is important to your overall health. I recently wrote a post all about this, so instead of boring you with all the facts again, I will make it short and sweet. 

Build up of waste within your colon can cause lots of illnesses as that waste contains toxins from everyday foods and medications. If you are not eliminating that waste properly, those toxins seep back into your body.

I have once again gotten a probiotic to try out and tell all about how great it is. And it would not be a lie to tell you how much I love probiotics!!

They are so good for you! Your immune system starts in your gut, if that is healthy, then so are you. Your body already has trillions of good bacteria in your intestines, but use of antibiotics and sometimes food can kill those bacteria that your body needs to fight off sickness and illness. Probiotics are needed to keep you healthy. 

Number One Nutrition Advanced Probiotic states to take 2 capsules with food, after doing this for a couple days I had to cut back to one capsule. I was getting cramping in my lower gut. I cannot tell you exactly why this happened except maybe I was getting too much good bacteria. My gut health I would like to believe is pretty good, and the old saying "too much of a good thing is not always good", can be true.

But once I switched to just one capsule the cramps were gone and I feel great!

This product came to me looking very different than what the photo shows. It was a thick non flexible material that did not really resemble nylon, even thought the product is said to be made with nylon. 

I tried to make homemade cherry lemonade and used the Everyday Kitchen Essentials Nut Bag to strain out the lemon pulp and seeds.

It was extremely difficult to get the material to fit inside the funnel, I had to man handle it and hold it in place so it would not pop up out of there. I lost half my juice learning this the hard way :-(

I do not like to give any negative reviews, but I cannot say much good about this product. I always try to be honest in my reviews and find something good to highlight...boy, I am at a loss here. 

I would give this product ** (2) stars- only because it was pretty easy to clean once I was done and it's reusable...washing machine friendly.

Chicstix is a shaving tube, that resembles deodorant, that you use to shave your legs.

They are paraben and hypoallergenic free which is awesome!!

The stick that I reviewed is a Lavender scent, and it smelled almost like true lavender. I went on a label reading search to see if the essential oil was used, it was just "fragrance". This was a huge disappointment. 

That aside, the Chicstix was pretty neat. You glide it over a wet leg and shave like normal. It is way less messy than shaving cream if you decided to do a quick shave over the sink.

For modesty sake I did not take a picture of me actually using the product!! But I did like it. 

I have been using bottled lotion that I stocked up about 2 years ago while it was on sale and I was into the extreme coupon faze. Since then I have decided to use more organic and homemade items, but did not want to waste what I had. I just use it to shave, and it works great. 

I would give this product **** (4) stars. It was effective, easy to use and comes in a cool container. I took away a star for the use of fragrance, which is a big turn off for most natural product users...
