I have a lot going on in my life right now, I am super busy and stretched out to the max. There is one thing that I MUST not neglect, and no it is not myself, but the Lord Jesus Christ.

Almost all the things that I am doing are technically for Him. But what difference is that going to make if I am not seeking Him in the process? I cannot work for Him and do these assignments He wants to me to if I am not asking Him through prayer and time in His Word how to do it. Humm....I am stepping on toes here?? I know I am crushing mine!!

I get so busy sometimes and forget that I must pray about each and every thing I do if I want it to be anointed and used by God. All this work will be in vain if He is not at the center of it all. And when I say pray I do not mean something like this, "Oh Lord thank you for allowing me to do this, please make it good, bless it." That is such a general prayer AND I was not asking Him how to make it work, how to make it good or even how to get started on it. Also, lets so its not something you are creating but a ministry. When you have such a role you MUST have Jesus at the helm or that ministry WILL fail!!

We are but mere human beings trying to do the Lords work, it will not be fruitful without Him. Ok, so back to the prayer part....when you are seeking the Lord about what you are doing, your prayer should be something like this, "Lord thank you for the privilege to do this, thank you for the blessings to have this ministry. I pray this ministry/project, etc., will be blessed by You and for You. Give me the wisdom and the guidance on what to do, where to start. I need you to show me how this will be effective for Your Kingdom, make a way for this project/ministry to touch peoples lives and hearts. Provide me with the materials/words/people to make this project/ministry work according to Your will." ....I could keep in going, but you get the point I hope.

I am not perfect and sometimes I do neglect to seek the Lords will on what I am doing for Him, and I can tell a major difference in how that ministry is going. I can tell when I have not prayed enough about certain things, I can feel the difference in my heart and I can also see it by how others are being effected that are within that ministry or working on that project.

I am writing this to encourage myself to always seek the Lords ideas, His will, His blessing and His favor over all that I do for Him, and for my life....but if you got a blessing from this too, well, that's great!!
