I am loving this book. This is one that you will read and read again. This is also a great book to share with others who want a greater understanding of this particular book in the Bible.

Revelations is one of the hardest books to understand, even for the seasoned Christian. I love this because the authors Tim Lahaye and Tomothy Parker break this down into small snippets; a few verses at a time. They start each few verses with with questions about the verse before they even share the verse. Then they explain what the verse means, then they ask the same three questions again.

Here is an example of that the entire book looks like but with each scripture:

REVELATION 11:1-3

Pre-Quiz

1. What was John told to measure?

a. the length of Patmos

b. the temple of God

c. New Jerusalem

2. How long will the holy city be treated underfoot?

a. 40 days and 40 nights

b. 42 months

c. 40 years

3. How long will the two witnesses prophesy?

a. 90 days

b. 120 days

c. 1,260 days

WHAT THE SCRIPTURE SAYS (Revelation 11:1-3)

1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

WHAT REVELATION 11:1-3 MEANS

During the last three and a half years of the Tribulation, the holy city will be controlled by Gentiles under direct supervision of the Antichrist. It is during this time that the Antichrist will promote himself as God....

Then the same three questions previously asked will have the answers. The point of this is to help solidify what you are reading. This is a great concept!!

Being someone who loves to learn God's Word and because one day I will be preaching the Word, I need to KNOW what I am reading!!
