As a women of middle age, I am starting to see the effects of aging. I know it’s a part of life and bound to happen, but that does not mean I am just going to sit by and let it happen without taking some sort of proactive stance against it.

Before I share with you my 4 skincare hack I want to share with you- YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL JUST THE WAY YOU ARE! These skincare hacks are not about applying this and that to make you look beautiful, change how you look, or become something you are not. God created you to look just as you do for a reason. There is no changing that! And you should not want to change that!

If you have been following  me for any amount of time, you know that natural beauty is the most beautiful beauty there is. You should not be covering it up with a ton of makeup- let your natural beauty and face shine!

Now, we know we can’t stop ourselves from getting wrinkles but we can certainly postpone it and keep your skin looking young and fresh longer. Ignore any other advice you’ve seen online, these are the only skincare hacks you need in your life:

4 Skincare Hacks for Youthful Looking Skin

Wear SPF suncream even when you’re not at the beach. Credit

Always wear SPF

SPF is known by most people as the ingredient inside sunscreen that protects you from the suns harmful UV and UB rays. This is true, but it can also be found in many other types of makeup/creams to help the consumer get the protection they need without the hassle of adding another product to their morning routines. Even if you’re not going to the beach you need to wear SPF when you’re going outdoors. Look for at least SPF 15 and lone specifically designed for your face, or a built in SPF in your daily facial moisturizer.

Use a neck firming cream

Your face is not the only area that can start showing signs of aging, your neck (also called your Décolletage) can start showing your age way before your face does.To prevent this, get a neck firming cream that tightens the skin and can improve your skin tone at the same time. This will make that area of your body look visibly younger and healthier too. Be sure to gently exfoliate this area before applying your skin cream.

Side sleeping is comfy, but it can cause wrinkle lines on your face! Source

Try and sleep on your back
This is a straightforward hack that really makes a difference to your youthfulness. When you sleep on your back, your face is free to breathe and doesn’t have anything pushing against it. If you sleep on your front or side, then you’re face is pushed up against the pillow and this can create wrinkle lines in your skin. So, a subtle change in your sleeping habits can make it feel like you’ve sipped from the fountain of youth.

Speaking of sleep, make sure you’re getting plenty of it every night. While you are sleeping your body is naturally repairing itself, including your skin!

Use Aloe Vera
Instead of looking for face creams that claim to have anti-aging properties, you should just go back to the basics and get some organic aloe vera gel instead. It’s highly effective and proven to help reduce wrinkles for good. Yes, some products already have it as an active ingredient, but I prefer the idea of making it yourself as it’s cleaner and chemical-free

Check out this video that shows you how to use aloe vera for wrinkles. I can only apologize for the annoying robot voice, but if you can ignore that, then it has some excellent information that I personally found extremely useful.

Just remember, there is no way to totally prevent aging skin, just proper maintenance will help keep it at bay longer. Embrace your age. Embrace who you are. Embrace who God created you to be.

Most importantly: LOVE YOURSELF WHERE YOU ARE IN LIFE!
