V3 Life and Food YACON ROOT SYRUP Product Review

*Wonderfully Messy Mom received this product free in exchange for a review

What is a Yacon ?
It is a vegetable from South America comes from the Sunflower family. Many people believe this vegetable to be a good source of fiber and to have many health qualities.

Like what?

Lowers blood sugar, prevents and controls hyperglycemia, restores renal activity and help maintain weight loss.

Yacon (Smallanthus sonchifolius) Syrup comes from naturally grown organic Yacon fields in the country of Peru. Yacon syrup has shown to remains low in calories and low on the glycemic index scale because the sugar contains high levels of inulin; a form of sugar that is not metabolized readily by the human body. For this reason, Yacon is ideal for diabetics and acts as a great alternative to conventional low calorie sweeteners.

The directions on the bottle say you can take this as a supplement; 1 teaspoon 3 times a day, or mixed as a sweetener in coffee and tea.

I use it as a supplement. The taste is very unique. It will be hard to explain, you will just have to try it yourself to get your own personal description. But I would say its a mix of these flavors:

honey, sweet potatoes, apple, and some sort of spice like ginger...
like I said, its very unique. GOOD, but unique.

It will be something that I can stomach everyday and not get overwhelmed.

Do you want to try this for yourself? You can go here to purchase.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
